It has been a while since I last posted. You'll be happy to know that I've been hard at work chasing quite a number of small bugs and adding new features. Today, I'm happy to announce that I have finally reached critical mass. Thanks to everyone who submitted bug reports and trace logs to help me correct quite a list of stability issues. And to everyone, please enjoy the update.

I purchased the 4.1 version yesterday and it worked really well with winamp and 'Freebox Revolution' device.
The Freebox Revolution is an adsl modem box designed by french manufacturer Free.
This device has a screen where you can see informations about the title, artist and album.
It works really well with Itune but no informations are displayed when I use winamp and remote speaker plugin.
Possible to change that to be absolutly perfect ?
Thanks.

Hi Eric,

Firstly what an absolutely genius piece of software you have here, I will definitely be purchasing a license as soon as I can afford it. I have never really liked itunes and love winamp and have struggled finding a plug in to allow me to stream to my zepellin air, however this has solved my problems!!!.

I need one thing sorting before I commit to a purchase. When I unselect remote devices it is flashing up an error saying No remote devices selected when all I want to do is play on my local machine. How do I get around this.

Thanks in advance and congrats on a great plugin. With more advertising you could make a killing im sure.

Cheers,
Jamie

Hi Eric,
evaluating the latest version of your plugin I've been unable to successfully connect to AirBubble v1.0.10 (AirPlay receiver for the Android platform) from XMPlay on WIN7. The normal connection dialog appears for a few seconds then clears however no audio is heard. No error messages are presented. The status of AirBubble before, during and after the connection attempt is "Accepting Connections". The plugin is working beautifully on an early Airport Express, a significant improvement over Airfoil both in terms of stability and sonic quality. Congratulations and keep up the good work.

Regards,
Bladesz

Hi Eric,
I am wanting to set up remote speakers, I have a PC with XP and the latest version of MediaMonkey. If my understanding is correct if I install your plugin I can achieve this using an apple airport express connecting the audio out into my stereo. I have a couple of questions;
1. Does Remote Speakers Output Plug-In 4.1 work with the latest version of MM
2. Can I use the plugin I have installed on my iPad "MonkeyMote" to control and select the music while using remote speakers.
3. Are there any issues that I should look out for when installing the remote speakers plugin.

Would appreciate a prompt reply, wanting to setup by this Friday for wife's birthday.

Bladesz,
There is a small incompatibility between the plug-in and AirBubble. I believe it has fixed; you can try it out and let me know if streaming works now.

Thanks Eric, the latest release indeed fixes the problem with AirBubble. Good job. Another issue uncovered during testing was an APPCRASH in xmplay.exe (3.6.0.68). The fault modules name was apex_Core.DLL_unloaded. The problem occurs consistently when xmplay is closed. The exception code reported is c0000005 with an offset of 02d67050. A few observations, the error occurs regardless of how long xmplay is open. Changing the output away from RSO before exiting allows xmplay to close without error. Other than this RSO is working nicely with Airport Express, AirBubble and AirServer (OSX 10.5). Enjoying the sonic improvement and improved stability over Airfoil! A very nice user experience. Congrats.

Hi Eric,

I was wondering if one can also control the different Airport Express speakers through the MonkeyTunes Remote control? Like turning one off or the other?

Thanks for the hard work put into this MM plugin :)
