What would you like to see in version 2.0?
« Remote Speakers Output Plug-In 1.0 | Main | An early x-mas present from Nullsoft »With version 1.0 of the Remote Speakers Output Plug-In released and submitted to Winamp for distribution, the time has come to talk about its future direction. I have a couple ideas about what I would like to add or fix for 2.0—the major of which are:
- Playback on multiple Apple AirPort Express AirTunes devices simultaneously
- Support for Keyspan Express Remote control
I agree with EEguru. Being able to play on PC and remotely at the same time. Also, support for 24bit->16bit downsampling on remote speakers (I currently use 24bit card and had to untick 24bit audio in winamp to get it to work - not sure if I needed to do that or just stop-play cycle [only just installed])
Great plugin. Using it here with media monkey. The only 2 things I can also think of are multi-out and keyspan compat. These 2 things are the only reason I've still got itunes installed on my PC! Would love to help with a beta if you've got anything in the works! ;)
I am using it every single day... it IS the most usefull plugin I have ever used with winamp.
Being able to play on multiple output is the only features I can't wait for.
Another tiny stuff... Would it be possible to reduce ( a bit more ) the buffering time between winamp play and music play in apx ?
Great plugin. Support for Media Player 11 would be great. Will there be any beta soon?
Hey Eric! Great plugin, again!
I would really like to see the ability to play on multiple outputs like the current iTunes software. Being able to play on the PC AND 1 or more airports at the same time. One of out PCs is upstairs and when we play music on the speakers downstairs we'd like to hear it up there also.
Other then that, I can't think of anything else, it works great.
Maybe the ability to re-direct any sound (system sounds, etc) to the remote speakers, but I don't think that's controlled by the plugin anyway.
Thanks!!
